Insurance

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

Currently, I cannot bill insurance companies directly for personal insurance, but receipts will be provided for claim submissions. Some professional third party payers can be billed directly if a client is part of an association or receiving care from an association (ie. homeschool associations, Victim Services, etc.). Please contact me directly if you’d like to see if this kind of billing is possible for you.

Here are some helpful questions to ask your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  1. Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits? Specifically ask if these benefits apply for RCCs or RTCs. Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?

  2. Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

  3. Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
